Organic solar cells, based on conjugated polymers and molecules, are promising candidates for efficient and competitively priced photovoltaic applications. So far, they have reached energy conversion efficiencies of nearly 8 percent. Well-engineered printing technologies in combination with roll-to-roll processing shall enable large-scale cost-efficient production of PV-active films in the future. The step towards industrial assembly is imminent.

The objective of the International Cluster Conference on Organic Photovoltaic's is the comprehensive presentation of the current status and prospective research and development needs. Experts from companies and science will discuss topics such as

  • Fundamentals for OPV
  • Technological requirements regarding different base materials
  • Process technology and Devices
  • Production, application-oriented implementation and stability

A reception for congress participants will take place on the eve of the event.
